Ride the Revolution
Meet the Revolution Team
Jarred Hancox aka J-Rod
Jarred is Taranaki born and raised. He started surfing at age 14. With over 25 years in the waves he has seen countless National and local surfing titles. His most recent saw him take the title of 2020 NZ National Over 35 Mens Champion. When Jarred isn’t surfing, he’s working hard selling Taranaki Real Estate or trading the share markets. Keep an eye out on our page for updates on Jarred’s surf results.
Scott Silver
Scotty moved to Taranaki at the age of six and started racing BMX at the age of seven. He has held numerous national titles over his years of racing. He took a break from riding for a few years, but with his son finding a passion for the sport he took it up again a few years ago. He took the title of NZ4 at the 2018 Nationals, but the 6th October 2018 saw him suffer a serious accident on the track. After many months of battling and healing, he got back on his bike and is looking to take a new title at the 2020 Nationals in October. Keep an eye out for Scotty on the track and look out for updates on his racing results. We can’t wait to see what 2020 holds for him!
Kieran Baldwin aka Kitsch
Die hard Taranaki boy, Kitsch, has been riding the skies for over 15 years and has over 10,400 jumps on his portfolio. Even a broken back from a sky diving accident won’t hold him back from finding his next adrenaline rush. He started competing in 2012 and was the first Kiwi to win a medal in Canopy Piloting at a world competition in 2014. In November 2019 he smashed the New Zealand Canopy Piloting Speed record. Currently living and managing a Drop Zone in Fiji, Kitsch is hanging out for the borders to open up again so he can work on grabbing some world titles to add to his profile.
Tai Ruakere
Taihawea Ruakere AKA Tai began his skating journey young, at the prime age of 6, with his big Bro as his greatest inspiration. Stepping up his game around the age of 12 he started kicking ass in comps and cruising the streets and skate parks of our local district. Tai can be found regularly breaking boards and ripping up the pavements and local skate spots of Taranaki. Give him a shout if you see him around.
